In November 2007, Shawn embarked on his municipal government career with the Village of Ruidoso, NM, demonstrating exemplary leadership, visionary thinking, and a relentless dedication to serving the community's best interests. His tenure in various Senior-Level management roles showcased his commitment to excellence. In November 2013, Shawn returned to Texas and found an exciting opportunity with the City of Princeton, TX, where he served as the Deputy City Manager and previously served as Building Official & Development Director. As Deputy City Manager, Shawn wore many hats, overseeing crucial departments integral to the city's functioning and growth. Throughout his tenure with the City of Princeton, Shawn also served as the project manager for all City Capital Improvement projects, overseeing the construction of over $20 million worth of projects at any given time.
